Day 2 was a sea day- and it also happened to be the 12th anniversary of my 29th birthday. :) We pretty much spent the day relaxing - and trying not to throw up.... There was a storm chasing us so it was pretty darn rocky on the ship. Even with my "patch" on I started feeling a bit queasy and Shawn who has an iron stomach was also not feeling good. We ended up sitting in the middle of the ship out on the deck for a few hours to let our stomachs calm down. It helped a lot and by lunch time we were both fine.
This night was also the first formal night of the cruise so we got all gussied up in our pretties and I got to celebrate my bday in style. ;)

This is the ship's Captain, Nick Nash. If you remember I mentioned we were on the "sick ship" or the "Crown Sickness" as some referred to it so the Captain would come over the intercome several times a day and remind everyone to "wash their hands" and not to touch the handrails. When I met him the first thing he said was , "Did you wash your hands?" chuckle, it was pretty funny. Also, because the sea was so rocky that day many people were getting seasick. The Captain kept telling people to stay in their cabins if they felt sick at all until they could be evaluated for seasickness or the dreaded mombojombo or whatever it was called. haha.
They put a sign and balloons on our door that said "Happy Birthday". I felt so special. lol
