Yay! We finally made it to San Diego today about 1:30. We stayed last night in St. George, what a long drive that was from home! Once we got here to SD and got settled into our hotel we went to the San Diego Zoo and spent about 3 hours there. It is a nice, shady zoo but I have to say their signs and directions are very poor. Half the time we didn't know where we were or where we were going- very confusing, but it was fun anyway. After dinner we asked the kids if they wanted to take a drive to the beach to see the ocean. After much whining about having to get back in the car (can't really blame them) we finally got them all piled in and headed up the road about 5 minutes to Mission Bay Beach. Once there we couldn't hardly get them to leave! It was such a blast watching them run in and out from the waves while the sun is setting behind them. This truly was the best part of my whole stinkin day!!! Baylie even came running up yelling "DAD, why can't we live here, I love this place!!!" Ahhhh.... it doesn't get better than that. :)

I'm glad your kids are having a blast! San Diego is definitely fun. If you stop in St. George again, call me and maybe we could wander over and have dinner or something. My cell is (435) 668-5338.
I'm so glad you get to spend some time in beautiful San Diego! I can't wait to be there myself in less than 2 weeks! Enjoy your trip - can't wait to hear more about it and see more pictures!
