| Me and my Daddy |
On Sunday we decided to take a tour through
Minnetonka Cave. It had been many, many years since any of us had been there and I remembered it was pretty neat and wanted Shawn and the kids to have the experience. It was a beautiful drive up there and didn't take very long from where we were. The tours usually fill up early so the website recommended being there first thing in the morning to get on the "list". We got there just in time to hit the 10:30 tour (thanks to Aaron who smooth-talked the girl to letting us go on the earlier tour instead of waiting until 11:30). The tour takes 90 minutes and the cave is only 40 degrees so thankfully we thought ahead and all had jackets. It was just as neat as I had remembered it being. I can't believe how HUGE that thing is- and we didn't even get to go to the very back! Before we could even get down the entrance steps a couple of little kids started screaming and freaking out. I was thinking it was going to be a LONG 90 minutes but they eventually calmed down once their eyes adjusted to the darkness- whew!

| Baylie, Morgan, Ashlie, Tyler waiting for the tour. |
| Love the view behind the kiddos! (Tyler, Morgan, Roxy, Ashlie, Ashley, Joslyn, Baylie) |
| The kiddos at the entrance. |
| Heading into the deep dark cave. |
| I love how cool all of the stalagmites (they come from the bottom and "might" reach the top) and stalactites (they hang "tight" to the ceiling) are. |
| It's amazing that it has taken hundreds, even thousands of years for these to form! |
| These are called the seven dwarfs. Don't ask me which ones are which because I can't remember. haha. |
| This pic cracks me up because everyone looks like they're looking at something amazing. lol |
| Very large and deep cave! |
| I love this pic of Mel. |
| We are the cave creatures.... |
| Another nice tourist took a pic of the whole fam dam. Love this! |
After the cave tour we went back to my Aunt's condo and let the kids spend some more time in the lake together. They really enjoyed these kayaks! Roxy, Ash and Morg were giving themselves mud treatments -ick! Shawn, Melanie, Dad and I went out to the picnic table and played phase 10 for awhile. It was a nice relaxing Sunday.

| Great pic of my dad - he actually looks like he's having fun!! :) |
My brother and SIL came up with their kids for an hour to see us. We invited them to come have dinner with us back at our campground but they couldn't. It was fun to see them anyway- although I didn't get any pics of them!! After the day of fun we headed back to camp to do some dutch oven zippy chicken. My sis and her family came over to join us. My dad's contribution was some ginormous marshmallow that made some amazing s'mores!

| Haha, this pic cracks me up! Ashley hiding like a dorcus in the background - Love her! |
| Yes, my face says it all - "Will you just take the pic and be done with it?!" |
| We witnessed some beautiful sunsets over the lake! |
After dinner the Walker's and Grandpa headed home. We were sad to see them go but that's what happens when you have to work. haha. Sadly, on the way home out of the canyon the fuel pump went out on my sis's car, which made for a long night for them! Sorry sis!
